Golden Creek Angus Meatballs
Shared by Chef Claudia Sandoval
Great beef doesn't need much. A few simple ingredients allow the flavor of the Angus to remain at the center of the plate. Serve with your favorite sauce, over pasta, or alongside roasted vegetables for an easy family dinner.
Makes enough for: 2-3 pounds of beef
Ingredients
2 lbs Golden Creek Angus ground beef
¼ cup finely minced onion
4 tsp finely minced garlic
¼ cup heavy cream
4 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp finely chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Add the Angus beef to a large bowl. Add the onion, garlic, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and parsley. Using your hands, gently mix until evenly incorporated, being careful not to overwork the beef.
Using a scoop, portion and roll the mixture into meatballs. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each.
Bake at 400°F for approximately 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
For appetizer portions: Use a 1-ounce scoop, just like we did at the SoCal Chef Open.
For a more robust dinner portion: Use a 2-ounce scoop.
